Sigrid Viir examines how the personal and the political sphere are connected through the choices we make. She projects into one installation two main concepts – private, personal and political; and marks them with cosy wallpaper and home interior shots. At the same time, all this cosiness is placed inside election booths – the choices we make in the booth determine the quality of our private life for the coming years, be it through employment, social policy, medical services, transport. The igniting nuance of Sigrid Viir's work is the belief that our political decisions are based on private info spreading by word of mouth or through tabloid media.
